Tasweek Real Estate Marketing and Development is planning to create an investment portfolio worth USD 250 million within the next year and a half. Targeted areas include Dubai Marina, Dubai Financial Centre, Jumeriah Beach Residence. There are also several locations in Abu Dhabi.
According to Masood Al Awar, the CEO of the Abu Dhabi-based property advisor, the company has already started acquiring properties through the use of their own funds, but also plans to raise more money through potential investors and the company’s own shareholders. There are several strategic locations already selected and the company looks for a mix of retail, residential, and commercial investments.
With a return on investment expected to be at least 10 percent, the company plans to focus on transactions that will add to the networking and professionalism that is already in place. Part of Tasweek’s strategy is to offer a one-stop shop for real estate, but also for related services, such as marketing.
Al Awar also stated that the company wants to build on the solid portfolios to further enhance their mediation efforts between banks, developers, and our customers.
