Noted for excellent management, the Dubai Marina Yacht Club, announced with pride on June 20th, 2010 that it won the prestigious “Innovation and Excellence” award in the Marina and Marine Management segment at The World of Yachts Recognition Awards for Excellence held this year.

This award was offered to this prestigious yacht club at the ceremony organized at Beirut, Lebanon. This awards ceremony was held alongside the 2010 Beirut Boat Show.

Notable professional in the global yachting and marine business formed a part of the jury that took into consideration the unique and most recent achievements of the organizations that were nominated for this award.

Dubai Marina Yacht Club’s Senior Marine Operations Manager, Phil Blake, said that the club felt honored to receive this award. He credited the hard work his team put in to make the cruising rally a success. He also commended his team’s effort in organizing the various summer workshops and seminars. He went on to say that the unparalleled combination of world class facilities and fantastic location, has fueled the popularity of this club among the active patrons of this region.

Mr Blake went on to mention that by the end of the current year, the portfolio of this club will increase multifold due to the introduction of a mall alongside the existing shopping arcade.
