If you have recently searched for a one bedroom apartment in Dubai Marina, you are not alone. According to research completed by propertyfinder.ae between July and September 09, the term Dubai Marina topped out the popularity rankings with over 10 percent of queries. Close behind were Jumeirah Lake Towers and International City.

With three out of four searchers stating that location is of “great Importance” when searching for property in Dubai, it seems that the Marina is quite popular. Price was not as much of a critical factor as expected, since most searched for properties with an upper price range as high as dhs2.5 million.

Over fifty percent of searchers were looking for an apartment, even though these are considered much riskier than other residences. With one and two bedroom units the most stable of all apartment type rental units, it only makes sense that one bedroom units were in the highest search queries.

However, most searchers were looking to pay around dhs80,000, but realistically, most two bedroom units were renting for between dhs110,000 and dhs120,000.
